The best performing option would be the i5-4690k and the r9 280x is the best performing option, and they fit into your budget. Its a bit overkill for minecraft though.

A decent 400 watt psu should be able to run a gtx 750ti. It is one of the most power-efficient cards.

4) im not to familiar with Roocat but i wouldnt pay $250 for any keyboard seems a bit overpriced imo.

It could be improved a bit. You are planing on overclocking, correct? If not some changes should be made. Why do you have to get everything at newegg? you might be able to get some better deals elsewhere.

Im not sure why you posted this here if you dont want opinions. However, without examining it too closely, I see a couple of areas to improve.

Im not too sure about your initial problem. It looks like the hard drive isnt being recognized for some reason... or the keyboard. Do you happen to know what the expansion card is?

I agree, I dont think you really have to stick to one style. My favorite out of those skins though is the "simple realistic" one.

I mean the easiest way would be world edit. I assume you dont have that though, so you will have to try to melt it.

You did have a spacing issue though. Are you sure the file didnt get extra spaces when being copied and pasted back in. I also noticed no group was set to defualt. I dont think that should keep it from loading the config but it might. Either way, you should set one for the new players. also make sure to /manload your changes if applicable.

Wait, gateway still like exists... But, to answer your question, no those specs are not good. I dont think you could even run minecraft. Why does it have to be from gateway?

chaged:
mobo: You might as well get atx version for a only $2 more
ram: I am aware that there is marginal performance difference but i would go with 2x4gb ram for only $2 more. plus, This kit doesnt require mail in rebate which is always good.
case: This is just an alternative. It comes down to personal preference.
psu: The psu in afootplutos build is very low quality and a very overpriced. I added an 80+ bronze rated corsair psu for a lower price.

I agree with afootpluto, windows 8 would be better. It has full desktop as well as the tablet style start screen. You dont have to use the start screen if you dont want too. There are also programs like classic shell that bring back the other start menu.

crazyeagleThere are lots of improvements that could be made. First, you want to define if its designed for overclocking or not. If it is then you need to get a overclockable motherboard and a cpu cooler. However, if it is not then you should go with a non-overclockable (no k ) cpu for a lower price. With that being said, there is no reason to go with 3rd gen intel cpu's. There are priced at almost the same point as newer 4th gen cpus which are better performing and more energy efficient. 8gb of ram is good but i would try to get ddr3-1600, i imagine you could even get a decent kit for less than the one you have. The hard drive seems kinda expensive when you can get a seagate barracuda for £36.00

Also, now that you changed the gpu the psu needs changed as its cutting the power requirement to close for comfort and lacks 2x6pin connectors for the 270x

Depends what you are paying, but its not very good. That gfx card is pretty awful, and the cpu isnt that great anymore either.
