TraedpoDThe reason Apple computers are still highly regarded by professionals - is because of their ready to use functionality. You turn it on and you're done, unless you want to go in depth with customizing your settings which is very easy to do.
On top of that, companies don't have to worry about which parts to order or maintain, because OS X is optimized for the specific type of hardware Apple gives you. That's not to say you can't upgrade. It just costs more to get the parts.
In the end, you shouldn't have to alter upgrade if you buy the appropriate model for what you do. An iMac from 2012 'till now will run ANY game like a dream!
TraedpoDcschnurall of these people are ridiculously dumb if they think macs arnt good for gaming. and trust me, ive had both windows and mac and i would pick mac over windows any day. plus the added fact that you can do a partition and run windows on your mac machine. mac is built to last and is far better than windows. thats the fact.

It's a YouTube video that comes to mind every time people argue over this topic.
I do think it's unnecessary when people try and rip apart one another because they think the other company sucks, but people have been for the most part "informed" in this thread.
