I was lucky to not be effected by the flooding at all, aside from having my highschool graduation cancelled. Instead my family offered our house to my friends and their familys who did lose their houses. It was a good couple months of tight quarters, but were also all still friends so it was kinda fun. Luckily it being a town called highriver, we had quite a lot of infrastructure in place to help. it didnt stop the flood (this one was MASSIVE) but it did allow for everyone to get out before it deadly. So no deaths :D aside from some animals :(
