SloPro11First off, never buy ANYTHING from Apple, their products are overpriced and have outdated hardware, secondly Microsoft's phones are pretty bad imo too and I personaly wouldn't recommend them, but it really is up to your preference, some people like them and some don't, do you like the UI and don't mind having a bit less apps? Go ahead get one. So what do we have left? Android... oneplus 2 or oneplus 3 when it comes out are very good choices, you get pretty good performance for that price.
Honestly, I wouldn't buy a tablet and use the money for a better pc. I mean if you buy a 5.5 inch phone it's pretty big and buying a 2 inches bigger tablet would be pretty useless unless you're going to watch movies all the time.
Also, Windows doesn't just fill up with junk and slow down, it's up to the user, even if you manage something like free$.exe and open it, the built in anti virus is going to stop it. And if you're buying a pc, build it yourself. You save a lot of money on it. If you don't like Windows, simply get linux ubuntu or mintArsenalMy friend had bought a Chromebook for college and immediately returned it for a real laptop. Chromebooks can't run anything other than the Chrome OS, Office, and very very general stuff.
He must've been pretty stupid to think that it would run anything else than google's apps at all, Chromebooks are not that bad if you just browse internet or write documents, stuff like that... otherwise it's completely useless
