It would be awesome to be in this writer's club. I love writing drama/horror stories, but I never get anyone to show them to.
Anyway, here's my application story (Please note that I made this up on the spot):

The Guilty and the Wanted (pt 1)
Walking.
Walking seems to be the bane of my existence since I was found guilty of murdering my wife.
I'd walk in abandoned buildings, broken sidewalks and beaten off trails. I was fine with anything as long as I could survive it and it wasn't around people.
The truth is, I hate walking as much as a kid hates homework. It's also a lot like a kid doing homework, because if I didn't do it enough, I'd have a heck of a lot of work to do later.
I remember seeing the murderer walking out of the front door. I didn't catch any of his details, because who the hell would focus on a guy while his wife was on the ground in a pool of blood?
Your words wouldn't come out perfectly when your wife is in a pool of blood either. When you'd mean to say 'I need an ambulance,' you sound like you're saying 'HIBBBA HIBBBA DAMMA BUBBA AMBALAP,"
And trust me, that wont get you crap when talking on the phone to 911.
Or when you're talking in person to a cop with blood on your hands.
Or in court.
Or in jail.
