Why you want to be staff and why you think you will be good:I would like to become a member of staff for a few reasons. First off, I feel I possess the necessary skills to perform as a staff member. As aforementioned, I have previous experience in a staff role, and am currently a Jr. Mod, so I understand how being a staff member generally works and what to expect. I would also like to become a staff member bbecause I like to help people out. Despite being a little young, I find myself to be very mature and helpful. I enjoy assisting others and helping out, whether it be answering questions, or redirecting someone to appropriate personnel, or the correct place they seek.
I think I will be a good staff member because, as I said, I am experienced in the role, I know how to perform my job and how to handle different situations.
How you can help:As I said, I will be able to assist in the running of the server. I will provide appropriate punishments for rule infringements, answer player questions and concerns, provide a safe and fun atmosphere for players, and just generally be a fun, friendly, and caring idol.
[200 words] How to maintain a server and make it thrive. (Don't need any structure. But paragraphs to split ideas would be nice.)A server can be maintained through several means, one of these being having a strong, diverse group of knowledgeable staff members; however this is not the main reason. The true way to keep a server running is to bring in new players. Players are the reason a server is up. What is the point of a server without people to enjoy it? Players have many abilities, such as donating to keep the server running, applying for Moderator to attempt to better the server and rid it of trolls or rule breakers, and to simply have a good time and enjoy themselves.
To accomplish these means, a server must have a good staff team, a nice player base, and fun, attractable game modes to lure new players. As aforementioned, players are the main, and almost only, reason a server can stay up. They are there to enjoy themselves and perhaps donate. However, Moderators and staff members play a role in this success, too. They are there to make sure the players are enjoying themselves. Whether it be through playing a game with them, answering their questions, or simply talking to them, Moderators are an ideal role model for the players. This is why it is important to ascertain you have a mature, friendly, and overall helpful staff team, because Moderators, Admins, Sr. Mods, all of these staff members, contribute a big part to player’s happiness.
