Do you have previous staff position experience?(including proof) I have been Co-Owner twice, Admin 3 times, and Mod twice. The only server I am currently active staff on is where I am an owner on our server that is shutting down on 12/21/12 (198.15.85.187)
Do you know what Nodus is, and have you used it? Nodus is a tool that hackers use that is like a mod, but is actually a hacking client that includes things such as x-ray mod. I have used it before sadly, but that was a long time ago when I was immature and thought griefing was cool on things like creative servers and non-grief servers.
Have you ever been banned on a server and why? Yes, I was banned for griefing several times about 10 months ago when stated in my previous answer I thought griefing was "cool".
If you were given Op status, what is the FIRST thing you would do? I would go into the help menu and read all commands to make myself familiar with them in case the server had any plugins I had never used.
If you were saw a fellow staff member abusing his/her powers what would you do? I would take screen shots of the action, then tell them to stop, if they didn't listen if possible I would remove there powers and make them member temporarily until a higher ranking staff member could come to handle the situation. If no higher rank could come I would send the screen shots to one through whatever means it would take whether that is skype or email.
Why do you want to be a part of the VikingCraft staff? Based on information given the server sounds like my type. I'd love to meet some new people and hope to find a new home for myself as my current server that I am ranked on is shutting down this coming Friday. If I was to get the staff position I could potentially bring several of my friends to join the server giving it new members.
What characteristics make you a qualified staff member?Many people I am one of the best types of people, one who can combine the best traits into one person. Leadership, compassion, sympathy, kindness, discipline, determination, creativity, courage, sternship, character, and humor. I have learned all these traits throughout life and through being staff on other servers. I have learned things such as discipline, leadership, and determination through being an athlete, and things like kindness and compassion through being a good friend in real life and in game. I also have a lot of experience being a staff member on servers as stated above so I'd love to further my knowledge by helping out of this server.
What are the rules regarding hacking? Well my typical rules regarding the situation of hackers is to ask myself the question "What form of hacking are they doing?" are they spamming with a spam bot or using something like nodus and x-raying. If they are spamming I do a /kickall to kick all of there spam bots. If it is something like nodus then I ask them to remove it or be banned. If they leave and come back saying they removed it I will follow them around in vanish and see if they are still hacking. If they are I will immediatly ban them if they aren't I'll allow them to continue to play.
Are you an extrovert or not? I am a massive extrovert, I love social interaction and I become energized around people. I happen to get very bored when alone, but if I needed to watch the server when no one was on I would do it.
Anything else you want us to know? I typically use good grammar as I am an Honors English student, I am a decent midevial builder, I am horrible with redstone, I can craft every item in game and know every enchantment and potion and how to brew each one, and I know my way around many plugins. I also love music and can keep a good vibe around everyone. By that I mean I do not pick favorites and I treat everyone as equals. I've also been told that I am amazing in stressful situations by keeping my cool. While I don't think I am several people have told me I am.
