I did have an idea to use command blocks and custom plugins to make a fully custom RPG server with a gigantic map. Maybe one day I'll start on that. As for now, I guess I could take up building things. Thank you for your suggestions!

I'd say go with whatever one you enjoy the most. Although, towny/eco servers are the most popular right now.

I am a kind, mature former server staff who used to moderate a towny server. I love helping new players and answering questions from everyone. I also have experience catching hackers and griefers. Excuse me, sir.. This will be the last thing I say for this topic. I was not "Mini-modding." I called you out for not following one of the requirements of being a staff member, which is being professional. When you called me a "DUMMY!" I don't take that kindly and you are being a immature brat. You then unfairly banned me which was complete crap and I had to be unbanned by the owner, presumably. I will be taking my business elsewhere and have no grudges against you nor the other staff. Have a nice time and I hope your server succeeds!

(PS: I will not take my original post down, as it is accurate.)

The staff is very immature and unfriendly. I was banned by the dev for trying to ask questions, then warned multiple times for trying to speak to the owner in private. I even asked them if they were doing this just for money and they said yes! Do not join because they do not care about you, they only care about your bank account. Plus they don't have any gamemodes either.

3) Why have you chosen to apply for a staff position today: I am currently looking to help a nice community grow and have a good time
4) What makes you better than any other people applying: I am not better than anyone, but I do have experience ranging from all things from chat moderation to catching hackers and griefers.
5) What can you do to the community and playerbase (eg. Can you increase it?): I can help advertise on websites, as well as bring a few of my friends on board!
6) How well are you with handling threats (To you or the server, eg. a DDoS attack): I am usually calm and work hard to stop the threat. I have experience stopping DDoS attacks and ForceOp attacks
7) Any other information you would like to put in goes here: I'm just an average guy who likes minecraft. I have a good sense of humor, but don't let that fool you. I work really hard to make sure everyone gets along

Confusing or not, having new plugins means getting to do more stuff, but it takes a while to learn. It's kinda like a good thing with a bad thing.
