Hey. today i got my popular map 'My Own City." but how it all started?

in april 2016 i started making my own map (today known as My Own City) , I always wanted to be a big map maker.
about a week later asked my friend to check my map. he very liked it and said: "This map is AMAZING"
in may 2016 I published my map in Minecraft Forum, but no one download it.
in june 2016 I finally joined Planet Minecraft and published the project.
a week later the map started to be more popular than ever. thx.
later in june i finally got whitelisted on PMC server.
