Here's what I think:
I think he's not going to far, but he is adding the wrong stuff.
In my opinion, it would be AWESOME to have spacetravel in Minecraft.
I mean, think about it. 1 more update where you can find certain stuff to craft a spaceship with, and the spaceship would look like a boat or minecart but a bit bigger and the controls would be easy. You could go into space and explore new planets such as lava planets, water planets, everything, discover new mobs and all that stuff.
I don't need potatoes in Minecraft. Sorry. And yes, Minecraft is getting more complicated wich kinda sucks.
