Every time I've seen a server where people can't build, I've found that deleting ModifyWorld entirely has helped. Our server doesn't use it, and I don't think it's necessary. Try killing that plugin and the permission node and restarting. Should work.

@ogg: Bahahah! Dammit Minecraft, randomly glitching my server. I dunno if Essentials is updated, but it's definitely worth looking up. XD

@Rogue: That might be it. I'll take a peeksie at DispNameChanger and see if it's messing with Maim's name.

Yep, found it in the .db file. It also explains why it tells me 'Owner' has joined the game. XD Thank you!

If you don't want the [worldname] in your chat format, you can go into Multiverse-Core config and disable it. Just search "chat" or something similar and you should be able to find it. I think it's 'Disable Chat Prefix'.

As for the owner thing, I have noticed that whenever I join, it says 'Owner has joined the game'. Are you trying to fix that?

No worries, nsuu. XD I agree. The password was aggravating (and futile in a lot of ways, imo).

CombatLog is a good combat logger plugin.

Nametags can be done wiiithhh... Dispnamechanger and/or Narrowtuxlib. I'm not so sure about the latter one.

Otherwise all those other ones are great, too.

While I don't know of any plugins that can do that for you, I do this: I was on a server at one point that, upon starting, required you to set a password. It wouldn't let you leave spawn until you set your password. Then every time you came back, it put you at spawn and made you type in your password again. When you typed your password, it wouldn't send you to your logout point.

Unfortunately, I don't know the plugin. I know the server was the BucketHeroes bending server, but I took 'em off my IP list when I got burnt out. XD

So it's not quite what you want, but it indirectly does what you need.

Do you have ModifyWorld?

I've noticed numerous times that ModifyWorld is the problem with that. A few servers I've helped with had that, and no matter how many permission nodes they crammed into PEX, they couldn't get non-ops to be able to break/build/etc. Try deleting that plugin entirely if you have it (pretty sure you don't need it) and restarting the server. If you don't have ModifyWorld, what other plugins do you have? Can you list them?
