Nah in all honesty it's definitely MW3. Triple A studios are getting too comfortable with touching up their games (arguably for the worse) and reselling them off as sequels. MW3 was a classic example of this, as was Overwatch 2, and Valve trying to advertise CS2 as a new game.

Yeah I'm not saying it's a super spooky haunted ghost that joined my realm, I'm just surprised that the account Herobrine is still active these days.

For reference, I found out he had accepted the invite on the 25th of april.

I DID invite him as a joke the day before, but the name was initially grey. When I slept and woke up his name was white the next day.

Someone told me that this was an easter egg for some 10th anniversary minecraft map or something, but I never switched the map off of my survival world, and the supposed "Herobrine" user had accepted the invite before that map was even available to realms.
