I definitely do try for my work to be good. However player skins arent my strong suit. Mob skins are. I have the most downloads on my mob skins that any other.

I use both bedrock and java. Bedrock is just simpler to use multiplayer. Also In my opinion Bedrock is easier to build in. Java also has many great aspects, but I think the thing is availability. Bedrock IS cheaper yes but ngl its pretty fun when you have friends to play with. Meanwhile on Java u either have to get your own server or the players you are playing with have to be in the same internet as you. And if you (like me) live literally 1000 miles away from your friends, its a pain to play java. Bedrock is also slowly improving. Several of the bugs have been fixed. Also on bedrock you can dupe, mace PvP is easier, and building is also easier. Also I have seen java errors why you legit just die from an invis zombie on a hardcore world after playing for many hours. I however have never seen a bedrock error like that and I just recently got into java. Lowkey as I typed this I realized that I am basically parroting everything Ali57 said lamo
