Look in your Bukkit.yml and server.properties and you will find Allow Command Blocks make sure to set it to true.

Now if you are looking for Chat plugins like color names, Essentials is the one you want. If you are looking for a Beginner Friendly permissions plugin with Variables, Go with group manager. Everything else is Cosmetic though a few other things would help for Backing up unless your server has a back up feature then use that. But you always want something to use to roll back certain areas just in case someone causes serious damage. Depending on the GB you have for ram Im sure there are many things that you can do, it all depends on what you are looking for.

Ok well first off I wanna ask if there is an FTP you can have Access to. At the same time you wanna look at the Version of the Server VS the server that your HOSTING site is using. Are they looking at the DEV builds or are they the most update or are they behind on the actual updates. What I usually do, is go Directly Bukkit Dev Search the Plugins Download what I need and upload it to my Server, Restart the server to let the Plugins install config files then configure everything that is needed. no need to run op if you set up the right permissions.

Alright well i thank you for the help but I read the error log and figured out that i was missing a few ':' in the globalgroups YML as well as the users.yml was also the cause with the double negative. NOW I am having a different issue. I am running two worlds and I can do everything that I wanna do in the Main world but now I can't do anything in the second world. Config Pasted Below:

PAHousing Permissions still denied

Everything looks fine and the files for the worlds are identical now that they are fixed. Any thoughts?

Mainly I want to ensure that the Citizen coming on has basic Permissions and can't utilize Fly as well as other things that can give him an advantage like world edit and such...

Well in a way that kind of helped, I have fixed that, but I still can't use anything, I can but even giving mysef the 'Owner' the '*' I still can't use most commands

no need to worry because I have no intentions on losing this server. I took another job to be able to pay for it just as well I have enough protection in place to where there is no need to worry about much griefing. Of course there is going to be those that can find ways around the protection but again there is enough in place where we can either roll back or ban the IPs and take care of what needs to be taken care of. I have the ability to watch the server from my mobile device so nothing to worry about there. As far as staffing, those that help right off the bat and build the server where it needs to be from the ground up then they will be the ones that are Primary admins.. I have two in place that are building the spawn up as we speak and they are doing a good job of it. I myself am building the secondary worlds up for the other players to go to for what ever game style they choose to play.

I figured that much but you did help me see the error in what i was doing. Iwas doing one to many commands and would end up disabling one of th portals. Thank you much! Back to work and off to fixing things when i am off.

NoobPvPisMeMCI just see people saying that they're good, but good at what? Just saying.
I didn't see a format for this, but I'll just go with my basic format.


Right after I noticed you posted this I added a bit that I am expecting to know about the person. Once I see that there is an interest in the server I will definitely Up it to unlimited. Thats what my second job is going to be for. As well I am going to be hosting a Web Show in MC and Broadcast it live Every Week because I have nothing better to do with my life and My GF is going to help out with all of that so my MC life is Unhindered HA HA! Love the info you gave it helped more than what others have posted. Got one email so Far from someone that is willing to help as well. I will go with those that I feel best fit the need for the Server Admin Wise then I will find those that will be interested in Modding. I will be making the server LIVE at 1:30 AM EST And will be working on the Perms as we go so we can set things up the right way. I will also list the plugins on my next break.

Well the Server will be up starting tomorrow for the next two days while I work on it around the clock but at the moment I have it shut off until I can finish the perms on it. The Server is Penguin Army (Don't Ask GF thought it up and it stuck.) @ penguinarmy.mcph.co No port, I will also have the info in my sig in case so you can see when its online.

Thank you for your answer on the perms.As well I am well aware of the "*" I doubt I will really be using it I just want to ensure that I have the proper set up to ensure that certain things are not over ran by people knowing what commands for what plugins I have.

As far as the Multiverse, Here is my issue:

Map A is the Default Map that players will spawn in and Map B is the resource map that people will be collecting resources from.

I have Successfully created a portal to Map A from Map B but the same can not be said for the other way around. For some reason Map A's Portal does not wanna function at all and I was wondering if my /we Copy+Paste for my Spawn Building to Mab B has messed anything up.

Im just wondering if you set the same commands for both sides of the portal only changing the names.
