i've used 1024 and its not laggy if you have a good enough computer, but as far as right now versions, the only ones that i've seen not not near 100% complete.

I own a server myself and find this quite offensive.

Servers are not free or cheap, and i host mine on a dedicated server.

Saying to not donate to a minecraft server is like saying not to pay for your favorite online game, MC for example. the development and server costs are NOT free, nor are they cheap.

Maybe you made this thread out of anger or something, but you should really think before you post something so wrong and stupid.

i've been hosting MC Servers for about 2 years, and servers in general for 3.
when i want to make a server on my computer if i cant afford a host at the time, i have to port forward for that game.
Port forwarding takes about 1-2 minutes ~_~
Also, your "port forwarding" cant break.As many people have said, you probally screwed something up.No offense.I've never had trouble with port-fowarding, and i've been through plenty of ISPs and Routers.
