You aren't actually allowed to ask for payment on Planet Minecraft.

And, to agree with others, this is not the place to ask for such.

Again, to agree with others, I myself and many others I know can do what you do (and probably much more) and do so for free, as again, this is Minecraft, not something you should look to earn money from, unless you work for a server with a playerbase of over a thousand.

The only people who should really be paid are Plugin Developers who spend hours and days coding in varied languages relative to it, and as you seem unable to do so, I wouldn't exactly look for money.

But don't mind me, just some insight and opinion. You do you.

Experience: Regarding servers, I have worked with so many that I might not even be able to provide you with sources that still exist, as I've been involved with server management for three or four years now. Most servers I've worked with have went down after or with my presence and have had their websites shut down (removing all evidence of my positions), and the main reason always being that their Owners have no funding. A big no-no. Please do not start up a server without proper funding everyone. But, if necessary, I can certainly tell some server stories through Skype, as it would take all day for me to type it up here. Regarding experience in skill with servers, I have a very vast experience with server management and development. I have advanced knowledge with the following:
    - Plugin Configuration: This can apply to configuration, easy adaptability, and expert experience with essential server plugins. (i.e. World Edit, World Guard, Essentials, PermissionsEx, Multiverse, etc.)
    - Server Management: This can apply to staff recruitment, advertising, financial skill, and server pull factoring(things that can attract players to the community such as events or unique ideas).
    - Player Mediation: The ability to calmly and effectively communicate with players to resolve problems or issues in the community.
    - Lore Writing: Currently I am a practicing actor and model, as well as an aspiring writer. Whether it be creating a universe, or simply writing quest lines, pulling ideas from my imagination and past experience is always a fun thing to do. This is something I can do for the server in any way possible.

Position Applying For: I'd actually like to further discuss this with you guys, just so I can find a perfect fit.

Past Work: As of now, please just refer to the experience section., as explained how I cannot provide any proof of such. I can however pile memories together over Skype if needed.

Work Time: I should be available everyday for at least two hours, weekends varying. Though basketball season is starting and I may or may not be a little less active due to such. Also regarding my acting and modelling, I may have to be inactive a day here and there because of it.

Why You Want To Help Us: I cannot really go on about how badly I want to support the team, but from the little information provided, I really cannot. Although I DO know that from the vast amount of skill and teams you want to build, this project is going to require a lot of dedication and passion, something I can sense, and something I feel I can provide. I love both roleplay and roleplaying-game servers on not only Minecraft but in general, and I think my experience should be a great addition to your development.

    Skype: PM'd.

Additional Information: I am a junior with a fair 3.5-4.0 GPA. My hobbies include acting, modelling (both runway and print), music, sports, going to the gym, and obviously video games. I currently work as a secretary at my local SPCA, as well as pursue my career in acting in modelling with agents and managers stationed in Los Angeles and the Central Valley. If my dream in acting does not take off where I'd want it to, I plan on going to college and medical school to become a licensed plastic surgeon. Other than that, I love learning new things. While I do have over 3 years of management experienced either relative to real life situations or within the Minecraft community, I feel like withholding this position would not only give me meaningful experiences, but lessons I could forever cherish in my future.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach me through Skype, Email, or simple PM. Thank you for your consideration, and good luck to all!

[EXTRA SECTION; feel free to ignore.]
    Favorite Servers?
This usually changes from time to time, but at the moment I participate in a small roleplay community of at least twenty people. Roleplay and MMORPG servers are my favorite genre, as roleplaying is basically an advanced improvisation class for myself, and MMORPGs let you experience Minecraft gameplay in a completely different aspect.

What experience do I have with MMORPG servers and games?
Regarding servers, I have plenty. Some MMORPG servers I play on include (and are not limited to): Wynncraft, DungeonRealms, Pwing, and Swords of Valor. During the past year, I've worked with two other developing MMOs, either still in development or on hiatus.

What makes me a better applicant than others?
Aside from my vast skill range, I believe my maturity is what really sets me over the top. Maturity is a strong aspect of management and administration. Personally, I can be a bit of a goofball at times when I'm laid back, but when a situation is serious or needs a matured tending to, I always make sure to maintain that professional conduct. When dealing with conflict in the community, you always have to be the bigger person and hear both sides of a story before concocting a solution/consequence. Another reason could be my ability to bias my viewpoints. Referring back to the topic of conflict, you can never be biased towards one opinion or another. Your perspective needs to always be fresh so that the said solution would be balanced by both an aspect of morale and constitution.

Relative to gaming in general, I played World of Warcraft in middle school, Runescape also when I was younger, Maplestory (:3), and a handful of other games.

What can I contribute towards development?
I have worked within the parameters of Minecraft server development for almost four years now. Whether it be large networks, community roleplay servers, faction servers (not a time in my life I am proud of..), or minigame servers, my vast experience would be a large contribution to dedicate towards this project. This could include (and is not limited to): Marketing, Advertising, Social Expansion, Staff Management, Plugin Configuration/Troubleshooting, Art Conception/Design, Task Organization, Player/Staff Mediation, Website Management, and Gameplay Administration.

Another extremely convenient skill and strong interest of mine is writing. If story/lore writing is an available job, I would be happy to write a test piece to present my current skill.

Even if you do still work with some, that also just tells me that this wouldn't be your main priority.

Also, the amount of servers you've posted for shows how you aren't sticking or truly dedicating to one thing, whether you owned it or not.

But don't mind me, just observing.

I've been seeing you post server recruitments for years now, which leads me to believe that none of them ever really go anywhere...? Not really trusting that you have the effort/dedication to really get through with any.

((This is a new account of mine, hence why it's been created like 3 days ago.))

I'd like to apply for the position in the MMORPG server, but is it possible for me to submit it through Skype? PMC is currently being a tad buggy for me. Let me know, and I will leave my Skype contact below.

    Thank you,

Post this on the website of a popular Hub, I'm sure these would take off there, rather than PMC where servers go to die. (lol)

Event Coordinator and Manager (Positions: 1)

    Skype/Email/Country/Name/Timezone/Availability:
itsdurani/itsdurani@gmail.com/United States/Esther/Pacific Time Zone/UP to 5 hours during the weekdays, with an extended amount on weekends.

What potential do you see in the Byte that you think you can build upon to produce successful events, if it isn't present what can we do, or what can you do to help us achieve it?
First off, I want to acknowledge and applaud the amount of professionalism that is only included in the post itself, which is mainly what had caught my eye. Secondly, the specified positions make this feel like a real opportunity, and not some server that never ends up reaching the public eye. I already sense the large flourishing potential the Byte could reach, if not achieve much much greater. I feel as though my vast experience relative to player relations, management skills, conflict resolving mediation (with both players and staff members), professional etiquette, plugin configuration/management, economic handling, and more, would be a great addition to move the development of the Byte even further along its path.

Please describe the efforts that you plan on pursuing with the Byte?
I plan on fulfilling all of the Management responsibilities and then some. As mentioned before, I plan on using my skills socially to bring players in, reaching out to people economically for things like sponsorships and partnerships with people who has massive social presences (Youtubers, Viral Twitter accounts), and other things of the like. Incorporating ideas from the public masses, and even those of our own staff team to make sure all voices are heard and acknowledged. Making sure the systems put into the server work towards the benefit of the player mass, as well as making sure they are efficient and effective in keeping the player base large.

Do you have the ability to produce highly professional events and concepts?
I strongly believe I do with hold that ability. As stated before, making sure all ideas are incorporated is the biggest necessity in creating efficient concepts and events. To give the players what the players want and/or need. To encourage the players to support the community in any way possible. I believe that while overseeing these takes, as well as incorporating creative ideas and aspects of my own, I'll be able to create productive concepts and events.

    * must be answered!
    Position*: Pr-Manager
    In-Game Name *: Duranio
Age *: Currently Seventeen, turning eighteen in the spring. Yet, I would still LOVE to be considered, as I view this as a great opportunity and experience that would benefit me and you alike. So PLEASE, look past my age for one moment.
Timezone *: Pacific Time Zone (California).
Why you want this position *: I have a vast amount of knowledge relative to management skills, conflict resolving mediation (with both players and staff members), professional ettique, plugin configuration/management, economic handling, and more, which I have gained over the past 4 years or so. I feel that holding the title of a Public Relations Manager would be a great experience to with hold, and the endeavor may be rewarding to not only myself, but this upcoming server community.
Previous positions held (Duration, Where) : I've wasted a lot of my time working with servers who have failed to even reach an opening public point, which I am hoping would change if I am hired here. I've worked with Hubs, Factions, RPGs, Minigames, Prisons, and more, usually regarding permissions work, plugin management, building and planning, website development, advertising, and staff recruitment. I've worked on way too many servers to count. Some have been successful, some have been failures. The most common reasons I leave a server team is due to poor management, personal reasons, or it having the inefficiency to move further. If you want specifics, I may not be able to pull any up, but through further contact I may be able to.
About Yourself *: I am a highschool senior with a fair 3.5-4.0 GPA. My hobbies include acting, modelling (both runway and print), music, sports, going to the gym, and obviously video games. I currently work as a secretary at my local SPCA, as well as pursue my career in acting in modelling with agents and managers stationed in Los Angeles and the Central Valley.
