    I know you don’t normally hear from me here, but both Jess and I have been under the weather for a bit and I was the first to recover so here I am!

    I hope you all had a wonderful New Year and a good start to 2026! January is always a weird month for us at CatFace. It feels fast and slow at the same time. It is a very busy month behind the scenes, but also the time we step back, reassess, and look at the bigger picture, especially since it tends to be a slow month across the board. Because of that, it is not the best time for us to push out big releases, since the videos tend to not perform as well as they do in other months.

    That’s why you haven’t seen new Mermaid Tales episodes during this stretch.
    But don’t worry! We’re planning to kick things back off in February, and Mermaid Tales will be part of that! It’s taking a bit longer, but we’re about halfway through the season
    and still a lot more story to cover and some really exciting moments ahead.

    In the meantime, all of us here have been working hard on a bunch of side projects that you won’t see for a while, some in a few weeks and some even further out, but they’re absolutely worth waiting for! We’ve also been putting a lot of focus into the continued pre-production for MyStreet Season 8, especially on the animation side.

    With that being said… I have a small question for all of you.

    What do you think of the designs on the second image? Cool, huh? Jess and the crew have had a hard time finding their favorite, so I have snuck them out of the vault to get your opinion.

    What are they for? I have no idea… Why would I know?
