    This thread isn't for hating on. It's simply an idea, so if you aren't going to show anything towards it but negativity, please don't post here. And 1 more thing, I don't get why people like you say they don't care, yet you,obviously care enough to look at the thread just to bash on it.

    More weapons like crossbows, spears, shields, daggers, etc. Bigger boats, better furniture, more armor customization, like adding bones to it or just more armor in general.

    All who wish to participate in a fake server that will be put up sometime this week that is not an admin, mod, or builder NEEDS to PM me now!

    The opening of the server has been changed. There will be 2 battles. Germany vs. Poland, and the United States vs. Japan at Guadalcanal.

    Those who wish to add things to the server, please PM me.

    Those who want to request a private kit, please PM me.

    Added "Squad Kits." To get a squad, you must first either be a Sergeant, or donate for a squad, at which case you will be automatically promoted. Then you get people in your squad, name it, then request a special kit specifically for your squad. Kits CANNOT and WILL NOT be overpowered by any means.

    Going to try adding custom vehicle designs for tanks and planes.

    Not adding Movecraft. Ships will be built as stationary ships.

    Ok, so I have decided that when the server launches, there WILL be the main western front allies, Britain and France, against Germany in a brutal all out battle on the front lines of Paris. Britain and France will have all of the training week to set up defensive positions and anything they will need to defend the city. Germany will mobilize their forces, set up field hospitals, make airstrips, and get supplies out to the front lines. Anyone who joins the British or French side will automatically be drafted into that country once the battle is over. Same with German forces. We will NEED lots of Germans, so don't be afraid to do it for us. Each side will have specific advantages. Britain will have the Royal Air Force at their disposal, France has the home field advantage, Germany has massive amounts of tanks and troops. Also, they have the legendary Luftwaffe. So train up folks! This will be a good battle!!!

    We NEED more builders. We can find admins in game.

    Keep telling your friends about this guys. We need lots of views to get this server to go viral everywhere! We need as much support as we can get!

    1. Personal nickname
    2. Create your own squadron, division, or company
    3. Get an ad at spawn for your squadron, division, or company
    4. Special kits (NOT overkill kits)
    5. Get your own protected base
    6. Get your own ship
    7. In game money
    8. Special officer swords
    9. Special supply delivers
    10. Custom built trench

    *WARNING*
    If you buy a protected base, it will NOT be on the front line. It cannot be taken over. Private trenches WILL be on the front line and CAN be taken over. However, it will be extremely difficult to take it.

    Those are all the ideas I have so far. If you guys want to add anything, please comment what you want. Also, I will put up prices for donations tomorrow.

    I really like this plan. It looks really good for 3.5 GB a month. I have 2 questions though, will they install mods for me, and can I add more slots because on other sites it says that 4 GB holds 150+. If you could answer those, it would be great.

    I am going to once again stress the idea of the server. The open world function allows players to build what suits their needs when they need it. I am going to need to divide the world up and make fronts. I will also make sure that the world is of appropriate size. The fronts and nation boundaries will be defined by regions. Everyone can edit in them, but the region owners can and members can do more than the others can. Each side will have ample time to set up trenches and towns to send supplies to the front lines. Nation admins will play a key role in setting up their country/ Each country will have 1 admin, 2 mods, and a general. The mods and admins can build the stuff in gamemode when the server first starts, but then after that, only builders will have gamemode. This will ensure that no admin cheats whilst in combat. Builders should NEVER be fighting. Admins and mods can however.I have also decided that 25% of donations will go to promoting world peace and the other 25% will go to troop care packages. The remaining 50% will go to the server. I am going to put donations as soon as this post is complete. I only have a few ideas, so put what you guys want in. Also, I am guessing that many of you are watching the Super Bowl, so to ak\ll you Seahawks fans, I think you have it in the bag!

    I understand that plugins would get many more players, but I want there to be planes and tanks. The modding part would be done via modpacks so that no one actually has to install the mod the self, rather just add it to their technic launcher. I do like your admin app and am thrilled that you have many friends that are youtubers, but for the sake of actual WW2 vehicles, modpacks would work a lot better. If you want, we can talk sometime this week about what iOS possible in the aspects of modding. I can help you get the stuff nessicary for this server, otherwise, please consider this message and PM me.

    All countries involved when the server is in full swing will be as follows:
    Allies: Britain, France, U.S., and the Soviet Union.
    Axis: Germany and Japan. We would do Italy, but we need the major nations first.

    Might install Movecraft to make the sea a valuable but deadly addition.

    Might add more mods such as the backpack mod and others.

    Adding more donation options.

    Looking for more admins, helpers, builders, mods, and coders.

    Starting to setup the builder server for testing building talents.

    Gonna find a good hosting company. Probably MinecraftProHost.

    Accepting public ideas.

    Making a WW2 discussion thread to eliminate and off topic posts in here.

    Mod-packs are quite easy to install though. I am also hoping that there will be the constant threat of bombers, and I'm pretty sure that there is no bombers in the Guns+ plugin. So I am forced to use a mod-pack, and I love Flans mod. So that is why I am sticking to a mod-pack. Also I can add backpacks and other sorts of goodies to enhance game play.

    I seriously doubt all of them have been designed or portrayed in such an educational way as this server.

    I am aiming to make this a fun experience as well as working on the subject of history. In my eyes, it is crucial to learn about history so you know what happened and why we are the way we are today. So we don't repeat history. I have also considered the fact of 50% of all donations will go to keeping the server up, while the other 50% will be used to buy military care packages to send overseas. In the aspect of fun, I want players to be able to work together and develop better communication skills with each other. As we all know, communication is an essential skill that everyone needs. So this server will be aimed to promote education, care for overseas soldiers, teamwork, and most importantly, to have fun! In addition, I have also aimed to make sure that all events in the server ARE historically accurate. There will be message boards for each day explaining what happened that day that was significant.

    Apparently there are more people who know a lot about WW1 and WW2 than I thought! Lol. Anyway, anyone who has sufficient knowledge and fantastic leadership skills is welcome to try out for a nation's highest position. PM me if interested.

    The Treaty of Versailles was what really caused they economic problems, WWI just kind lead up to it.

    Yes, but Hitler saw the Jews as the ones to blame. Please take the time to look this up before posting.

    ~~~UPDATE~~~
    Flans mod will be release for 1.7.2 soon, so we will probably be using a 1.7.2 modpack for the server.

    Download Flans mod 4.0 for vehicles that aren't invisible.

    To get a sense of all the vehicles that will be used in the server, please download Flans WW2 pack, as well as Manu's WW2 pack.

    Early donations will be accepted in March for ranks. You will be able to buy ranks, plots (your own base), nicknames, In-game ranks such as General, Lieutenant, and Sergeant, and changing of nations.

    There will also be 20 open slots for beta testing a month before the server will release.

    The first day the server opens will be the first battle of WW2. That will last 2 days in which Germany takes on Belgium. Players will sign up under ONE of those sides. Once the 2 days is over, the war has begun. Players are free to do what they want. However, Belgium WILL lose the fight, and all Belgian troops will be sent automatically to Germany. This will help balance out the teams.

    For the first few months. the only nations fighting will be Germany, Belgium, Britain, France, and Russia. After we get more people, we will throw Japan and the U.S. into the mix.

    Kits will be made for all classes. Over 50 kits total!

    Better get familiarized with Flans mod and your profession while you can before the server release to the public.

    The month of testing will house 2 different days. First 2 weeks are beta testing. The last week before the release will be a training week. No parts of the world will be open besides the starting country's training camps.

    Sign up for drill sergeant when the time comes.

    Well I'm not worried about being that guy . If people view this in a negative way, then I'll ask them to look at it from an educational point of view. In a way, it does teach about history and would be great for anyone wanting to learn about WW2. I am recruiting leaders who know a lot about WW2 and want to show it. But if people get offended, I'm not sure why they would. If it's from a good/bad standpoint, we'll look at the Nazi's viewpoint, they were good in their eyes. They were taking care of what they thought caused their money problem, the Jewish population. However, in the allies side, and in many peoples eyes, it was very wrong. Clearly WW1 caused their problems. So it all depends on viewpoints. There will not be anything related to the holocaust in here as well.
