I think it's awesome to be a nerd like myself! Most people just try to insult us by calling us 'nerds' when we are completely proud of it. They are most likely jealous that we are so smart/skilled on certain things or they are insecure so they need to insult others. My school is awesome, in my year we have this thing called NAP - Nerds and Proud and there are about 30 of us!
And yes, it is true. One day we will rule the world. For example, imagine the world was in brink of extinction, there are nerds and popular people left out. Who do you think would survive. If we were surviving out in the wilderness and were being hunted what would the popular people most likely do? Make a fire, get found easily and killed. Us? We would find somewhere safe and NOT make a fire to prevent us being killed.
These things being said, I stand my case. We might not have as much friends as the 'popular' people but we do have some and we also have the important things in life. I declare that nerds RULE.
