EmpireWar • 2025-06-09 09:51:29

The server is about recreating iconic battles from The Lord of the Rings in Minecraft, without using any mods. This way, it is accessible to any Minecraft player on the Java edition.

Players fight against each other for the control of a castle, a city/town, village, or any strategic position, on our custom built maps.

In general people come to play any time, but the most players amass during special events, which are announced in advance on Discord but also here, on Planet Minecraft, and other platforms.

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday's epic Castle Siege event on our server!

On the occasion of the Moria Update, we broke our player record, reaching 85 players! A reminder that last time we had 100+ players was in 2014, looks like we're slowly getting back to those numbers!

Thank you everyone for coming!

Unfortunately, due to technical issues, we weren't able to enjoy the new Update, but we still had a lot of fun playing the existing maps! Stay tuned for a new event, rescheduled for the 3.1.2 Update (with Grimslade as a new map!)
