Assuming Notch still WORKED on Minecraft and I knew how to program, I would take Minecraft from the Java programming language to the C++ one.

if you have cheats enabled, then do /time set 0. if that doesn't work, then exit minecraft and then restart it. then do /time set 0. (this happened to me once. that's what I did.)
