Applying for lore writer.Real Name – Anna.
Skype - swiftla
Age – Fifteen.
Tell me about your previous experience – I’ve worked on many servers over the years, in positions such as moderator, administrator, lore writer, website admin, console manager and many more. I have experience with game modes such as factions, kit PvP, creative, towny, RPG, survival and technic. The only experience relevant to you is my time spent writing lore for Bloody Games (check further down for details).
Why should we choose you over others? – I am hard working and dedicated when a project inspires me. I can build, write lore, and can produce sketches to communicate complex ideas to other staff members. English is my first language, but I speak German and can still remember enough French to get by. I have administrated servers before so I can serve as a stand in moderator if needed when the server is released. This allows me to have multiple uses to the community thus increasing the productivity of the staff team.
How many hours can you invest? – Over the summer I can promise at least two hours daily, though split up if I am working on my coursework. When I take breaks from studying I’ll be sure to get something done for the server. When I go back to school in September I won’t be on the server every day, this is due to GCSEs, and it cannot be avoided. You’ll be able to contact me on Skype whenever though.
Tell me what you can do as your role – I can produce lengthy and well written lore for cities and characters, capturing their personalities on paper. I produce multiple drafts, adding detail and shaping the lore to suit the needs of builders and other writers. I’m flexible when it comes to edits, and have no problem with rewriting any work to match the styles of other writers or the theme of any quest.
Have you ever worked on a RPG Server before? – Yes, my most recent example was when I was a lore writer for Bloody Games. Unfortunately, the server closed but you can find the third draft for the Caeronvar lore in the PMC profile (it’s too long to post here).
Additional information about what you can do with your role – Hopefully produce well written lore for the community to enjoy whilst working with the writers and builders.
Your post yesterday contained an example of lore you said needed expanding. I did some work on it last night, so I may as well include it. However, the Caeronvar is far more lengthy and I recommend checking that out too.

Ok, back in the times where wars were just fought among men, one soldier called Sanguin Longthorne used to fight on the front lines. He had come from a family of very noble siblings who like he, had also joined the war effort.
As this war went on, which it did for years and years, Halpic started to lose some of his siblings, despite the fact they found such bravery and strength in each other. By the time the war was won, all of his family, that once fought right next to him, had died. He couldn’t handle it. He had been driven to fighting for justice, for who he believed in most
Once he had begun this, there was no going back. Murders and violent thefts had brought Halpic closer and closer to death. He began to explore how he could use it to his own advantage. Some say that over time, he started to take the form of a shadow. Whether this is true or not will, for now, remain a mystery. All people know now is that he is to them, a beacon of pure death and destruction; the last survivor of a once honorable family
Improvements
Sanguin Longthorne was the polar opposite to his brother, Halpic Golmen. Sanguin had been born into the main branch of the ancient warrior family, from birth he was deemed the perfect heir to all the Longthorne emblem stood for, and his popularity was unrivalled. Yet not even popularity could save a family doomed to fail the moment they took up arms again. Halpic, like all his siblings and brothers, took up arms to defend their King against foreign invaders.
The first incident occurred on the beaches. Halpic had grown weary with the never ending struggle of battle, and fell to his knees in the midst of battle. At that moment an arrow destined for Halpic’s throat flew into the back of his sister’s neck instead. As Halpic cradled his dying sibling in the midst of battle, he felt almost joyous he had survived. This feeling haunted him from one battle to the next, and at each another family member fell in Halpic’s place.
Halpic cursed the twisted humour of the Gods, and vowed all those around him would pay for the curse he had had to endure, for watching his loved ones die in his place and being filled with a strange relief had consumed him entirely. Fire swirled around him as he burnt whole villages to the ground, his twisted vengeance taking more lives than the curse placed on the Warriors of Longthorne. The stench of death followed him wherever he went, his sorrows as vocal as a flock of crows. All that remained was a husk of a man, doomed to forever uphold what his family believed in.
