Coming from one of our admins - We make sure we treat everyone with the same set of rules, no one gets special treatment, but that also mean no one gets punished unnecessarily. As admins we make ourselves available to any rants relating the server and thus we have to be kind and friendly. Our server focuses on being kid friendly so our ay fo doing things might not be applicable at all for you, good luck with everything :D
