really would be better to use a dedicated host service(if , for the price youd pay for a vpn (if thats the only reason your using it to hide your ip) you could likely get a basic minecraft host for the same price, it would likely be faster (as you will lose some data speeds by running data through a vpn) and you woudlnt need to worry about hiding your ip as it will be on a 3rd party computer.
plus it would be more of a pain to have users have to change the ip address if its dynamic.
