The age requirement is to mainly keep immature teenagers & kids out, obviously that doesn't stop the them from applying. Recently my server has been filled 24/7 with 8-15 year olds who are always wanting something for nothing, lack life experience and that sort of thing. I know some pretty mature and decent young teenagers but it's quicker for me to rule them out. If you think you have what it takes I don't mind you applying.
Back to your original question. There will be scheduling like you would find on a proper broadcast and we have a system in pace that I can stream from my home computer OR I can automated it with the files on my server, so basically have a stash of MP3 files on a remote server and I can setup playlists based on tags and the time of day. Really powerful system we have in place. Of course once I get some personal audio equipment setup at home I will be doing live streaming through VirtualDJ and other sound production software and others.
I'm planning to donate a time slots to popular YouTube / respected people in the MC community (probably wont happen until we're big and they see themselves getting hits through our service) and other YouTube / communities who pay a fee for a slot. They can choose to air during their times OR else the system will automatically continue the playlist.
For instance if something came up and I was due to stream my show from my computer and I couldn't the stream would resume to a default playlist as a backup.
I actually have the stream running at the moment testing and so far it has exceeded all expectations. I've got 2 podcasts running twice a day at 12am and 5pm every day. It all works, it's ready to go I just need to knuckle down and get the site done. Been building websites for 10 years ever since I was 10 so it'll only take me a few days to get it completed.
