It's the future, Minecraft was obviously going to happen like this, just like how Club Penguin was owned by the original makers then bought by Disney. What are you expecting? George Lucas got Star Wars bought by Disney for a lot of money. Companies are about money and money makes power, besides Mojang are developing new games such as SCROLLS which is one of their games.

As you said you were scammed, if you ever decide to buy something/trade something/sell something or whatever, make sure to ask around where you found this person from and see if anybody says that he/she is a good trader/buyer/seller, doesn't scam, and has many vouches (proven that it works/that person did good). It's just a tip though, just in-case you have never tried it before.

Alo, welcome to the Planet Minecraft Forums & Community! I am JK922 as you can see, my ingame user is LaVeyan_Satanist on Minecraft, I started Minecraft just by seeing my friends having it and telling me to get it somewhere in 2010-2011. I tried out the offline mode before I actually bought the game. I now translate for Jeb on Minecraft and I also make skins now, I also made a resource pack based on music, so check that out if you'd like. Now about your PC vs Console problem, I have an XBOX ONE, but PC can slow you down in games, or make you fast, I prefer consoles due to everyone having the same speed. Anyways, like I said.. Welcome to the community!

Did you try running Minecraft as an Administrator? It worked for me, might work for you.
