I havent taken the time to read through every page so this may be a repeat. Take this advice from a gamer who has gamed for over 10 years now, do not buy Alienware or any of that shit. Macbooks are very nice and if you are only going to be playing minecraft and school work they are the best. They are very expensive and unless you get a job its going to take awhile to save for one. They are ~1000$ for the lowest grade macbook. Of course you could look on craigslist.org or ebay.com but im sure you are young so those two may not be options.
If you want to go with a desktop you can build your own which would be 5x cheaper. You can message me and i can build you a computer under any budget. If you were wanting to buy a prebuilt one get a decent core i3 or i5 with a big case so you can add a graphics card.
You could also go with a laptop but make sure it has 6-8gb ram as that is now the norm. A core i3 or i5 and a graphics card that is not HD 2/3/4 thousand series. Radeon or Nvidia cards are a must. OF course you could get by with a newer onboard card but its better to have a seperate card as it gives your laptop more of a future.
