I kinda agree, there was a guy who donated, and he just wanted his money back for his server. So he gave the server that he donated to some troubles.

Oh right. Java can't do anything to your computer like DarkEyeDragon said.
Minecraft uses JVM(Java Virtual Machine), so Java is just like a virtual machine.

Its not, unless you:

Join a server, they will have your ip, and can DDoS you.
Use a mod. [ForgeModLoader(FML) is not built for viruses, so Forge mods can be safe.]
Use a launcher that is not approved by Minecraft Forums, PlanetMinecraft, or mojang.

Also, if you have mods, be sure to only get it from their respective owners. Some websites do not give credit and they modify it to make viruses go in.

Thats normal.
If your trying to free some memory for your computer. Just go to '%AppData%\.minecraft\saves' and delete your world.
