When I first started playing Minecraft I hadn't tried single player at all... I joined some random server I found on a list, it was greifed all over with lava (I didn't know what greifing was at the time) and of course it was also night, so as soon as I spawned, I ran for my life from zombies all over the place, found a hillside, dug a hole into it, and barricaded it with dirt... That entire night I still had no idea that I could craft things or even as to how... so I expanded my little hobbit hole about 20 blocks further in with my bare hands breaking stone... It was a long night O.o... Also for a good while after I started I kept thinking spiders were what people called creepers, lol
