I'm not sure that I want to build for your server. however you should remove this post if you're using your IP address. People can find your location through it and hurt you, instead look for a way how to change the ip into a server domain. There are tutorials on Youtube to help you with that. Be careful, you can trust anyone online.

You can break the actual portal by hitting it alike to the frame.

That file doesn't change you're actual skin. You have to change your skin on the Minecraft launcher under the "Skins" tab. If you need more help from there try looking up a YouTube video :)
