Okay, you should definitely not trust anyone on planet minecraft. If you're really going to promote people to staff, make sure they have played for a significant amount of time or you know them beforehand, as otherwise you don't know their intentions. People lie, deceive, and manipulate, and what I recommend is waiting at least a whole month before even touching on the thought of promoting. Otherwise, to your request, minecraftforums is another great resource for your needs, but please take my advice. Don't even think about giving any power to random people, especially people from planet minecraft.

I'd recommend getting cheaper ram. You can get 8GB DDR31600 MHz from crucial for only $30. If you could spend $150 more, you could get a "beast" of a computer (For the price) with a 6th gen core i5 and gtx 960, but if your budget is truly only $500, then this one is ok. Also do you have an operating system? What about WiFi card (If needed), and what about keyboard and mouse? Speakers if your monitor doesn't have any? I'm pretty sure you have it all figured out but some people don't think of these things when they build computers themselves.

You can play GTA V with that setup on medium 720P or low in 1080p. When driving in the city it may drop to 20-30 fps because you have a dual core processor. Apparently GTA struggles with dual core processors, even though i3's have hyperthreading.

Fallout will be fine with adjusted settings.

If Skyrim can play on my TABLET with an intel atom processor and 2gb of ram with a playable 30 fps, I'm almost POSITIVE it can run on your pc in 1080P with high settings.

Most new games that are demanding like call of duty and some others require quad core processors to run so you might really need a core i5.

Get a 256GB SSD and a 3TB HDD. An SSD is far better than an HDD, and if you haven't experienced one yet, you'll never, ever want to go back to an HDD. If you seriously need more space for your operating system and files on the primary disk, get a 512GB SSD. Those cost around $150-$200, so only around $75 more than a 256GB. In my opinion, 128GB is too little for an SSD. I mean, I consider myself an average user when it comes to my SSD because all of my media, games, and downloads are on my HDD. I only have 70GB free of my 240GB SSD. If I didn't move downloads to the HDD, I'd be closer to 100% FULL. Imagine if you were an average user like me and you had a 128GB SSD. You'd probably be constantly moving stuff and it would be a hassle. As for the RAM, 2133MHz DDR4 is quite slow. Get AT LEAST 2400MHz, and preferably 2666MHz. Stay below CAS-15 though for an optimal combination of speed and cas latency.

I'd prefer having thousands of new blocks, trees, etc, instead of better graphics. Graphics don't make games good. Sure, it makes them look better, but gameplay and features make a game good, regardless of graphics quality.

There. PC and 3 4K monitors for approx $2500. Only issue I can think of is if the graphics card can handle 3 4K monitors at once. Most likely it can, but you might need to research it. If you ever want to upgrade it, just add a second card for crossfire. I did a little research as well, and if you want to play arma 3 on one of the monitors at a native 4k resolution, you'll need to tone the settings down to medium-ish for an acceptable frame rate of 50-60fps. People have done 4k benchmarks on max settings with this card and they got an average of 25fps, I wouldn't recommend that . Pretty sure you can play in 1440P though and play on medium/high with 60fps.

Newer doesn't always mean better. And once again, hardware is what brings the speed. Sure, OS updates can bring some minor performance enhancements, that is to be expected, but along with it also comes the NSA's latest spyware update, the updated EULA (which isn't always better either) and of course the latest graphics "enhancements". Windows 7 in my opinion looks much better and has never once given me a problem as far as compatibility goes. The speed is always flawless too. My friends windows 8.1 laptop has trouble running many programs because they are incompatible with 8, but for me? Not a problem. And no, its not always faster either. My old netbook can barely run windows 7, so i thought that windows 8 MIGHT be a little bit faster due to the downgraded UI, and as it turns out, windows 7 runs BETTER. I ended up installing fedora on it, which is a very fast and elegant linux distrobution, and i am much happier with that. So maybe YOU should be the one to hold your lips since you had the gall to reply to my post with hostility and ignorance.

No, but newer is nice. I didn't say newer = better. I said it's better, AND newer. And minor? You mean up to a 25% performance increase.

Windows 8.1 looks almost identical to 7, no different other than the start button, it's just not a circle.

Never had a single compatibly issue. I don't know what your friend is doing. Anyways you can run a program in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

And it's probably older hardware correct? There you go, not an OS fault, it's your hardware fault.

And linux? Have fun with all those games you can play! /sarcasm

But I don't know what you're talking about, I just replied to your false comment.

    So true Haha

DUH windows 8.1 update 1. I use windows 8 on all of my computers, and my tablet. windows 7 may seem somewhat professional to fanboys and fangirls, windows 8 is much more professional, and the people that say I Dunno how to use it, are usually uneducated children or old people.

If I were given to pick between the two, I pick windows 8 by a long shot. Does windows 7 sync all of your apps? does windows 7 even have metro apps? I didn't think so

And windows 8 masters the look of windows 7 with a much more user friendly approach... I just don't see why people hate it so much.. and there are SO many more apps now like 200K vs the 14K in 2012
