Thanks! This is a really valuable feedback to me. I'm currently working on a really large scale data pack which is really useful to me to learn the ins and outs of everything regarding it.

What I plan to do is exactly what you suggest. Shorter videos that contain independant knowledge. I plan to start the series with basic stuff, like only in-game commands, how does execute, tellraw stuff work, later showing the audience tools that can generate colorful tellraw messages easily (after I made sure people understand why and how those things work) then turning to datapacks, starting really simple then going more complex.

And what I plan to do is to show the people how can they find information as well, so they can not only replicate what I did, but after coming up their own ideas, they find tips and information to those and be able to create anything (hopefully)

Thank you for your feedback! I enjoy teaching and people say I'm good at it (friends / fellow university students / co-workers). I tend to find how to make stuff interesting, I hope I would be able to do the same here too :)

I read they introduced this so people can't just upload viruses disguised as datapacks. This is also why it takes more XP to reach level 2 than it takes to reach the next couple of levels.

Datapacks and other stuff that contain files and not just a skin go througg Greenlight which can take weeks to pass. I have a datapack pending for some time now already :/

Slime and other transparent blocks always had similar rendering issues. If another player holds a slimeblock standimg on an icefield, you won't see the slimeblock (in hand) if ice is behind it. It just won't render.

Once I named a bug. You can say "but a bug is not inanimate", little did I know, it was already dead.

It's always nice when you can sell cobblestone/stone, dirt. They are useless after a while and some people (like me) feel like they still need to collect it. When you can sell it for some cash (even if not much), that's a good thing.

Although I think that this can't go for loots like Zombie flesh as you can AFK farm a lot of it and if you make it too cheap to sell, so it won't worth it to the player, the trade won't be used so it wouldn't make any sense.

I also think adding precious items (diamond, emerald, beacon, elytra) can be good too. They can set a general price in the community, so players can sell it for at least a bit higher to players.

Anything inbetween is nice too, so food items, etc, but they are not as interesting.

What I would make worthwhile is wood maybe. That feels like a job (like the jobs addon) and selling it should be somewhat rewarding (definately more than cobblestone).

I hope I could say something useful :)

Mine is spiders. And not even big ones, cause that one can be a rational fear, but small ones. They can't hurt me, but the small body and long legs just make me ughhh.... shivers...

And also Minecraft spiders. Mostly cause of the noises, haha.

They are nopes. Sometimes cute nopes, but still nopes. It tells a lot that sometimes the Minecraft spider noises and crawling noises creep me out and I'm 25 yo.

I think you can try BlingEdit for that, made by SethBling (search on YT)
