understanding the balance between what is and is not in your control, and getting your relationship with that right, can help a lot.

    lots to it all though.

    ;)

sufism + stoicism, works for me.

this format just kills it for me. how can you enjoy it when you know exactly what the game is going to be like... so scripted and dead to me.

yes, and that's what I can't stand. for me, when I played it (only twice unfortunately) I had loads of fun because I played it my way... it was great. but I don't see how anyone could truly enjoy playing it in that MISERABLE format... such a waste of life. Unbelievable!

I did once or twice - my little sister introduced me to it - and I enjoyed myself.

The thing is, I wouldn't ever enjoy it the way most people play it - in that format - which is just miserable (to me).

I found it to be incredibly entertaining to have fun with the game, mainly enjoying how I play it and using the chat. That was brilliant. Loads of fun. You can do whatever you want, and it's great.

Try having some fun, being spontaneous and original, not just playing a f**king game according to some ridiculous format, communicating only with "sus" and all the other preset interactions with other players. Boring as can be.

Watching my sister play after I did, goodness, I can tell she's hardly getting as much fun out of it as I did, and it's a shame.

I tried that and unfortunately it didn't change anything. I had Task Manager open at the same time and GPU usage as at 15% the whole time in-game. CPU spiked to higher usage before but while playing stayed more or less below 20%. Memory allocation didn't help either. Not sure why this is happening. ...

Thanks for your help anyway, star_weaver

The bandit camps would be an awesome addition! I like little flares like that!

Nice project you have here. Be consistent with it and finish it - I never really did that with my larger projects and really regret it.

After the bandit camps, work on the cities and magical stuff. Nether locations don't matter if you ask me, but... that's me.

    Dungeons would be epic too.

This is going to be a cool project!

These look a lot like those previews you get on the various skin database websites...

I'd be interested in that, certainly. I started playing at 1.2.5 I think, but I wouldn't mind playing 1.1... but 1.2 is my nostalgia, really. Go for it.

I like the blue cross' depth, but it's far too washed out. It's hard to see anything there at all, so increase the contrast and maybe change the hues a little.

I'm probably a bit late here, but i advice you to properly get to know her first via Skype and also not to get too attached before you even see each other.

i think you feel the sort of love that you can develop for a character in a book that you relate or feel gravitated too, especially as you can't see her.

Yup. Also, some people say the human eye can't see above 60FPS, but I personally can tell there's a difference between 60 and 70FPS. Anyway, yeah. With VSync you'll be getting some 59s just because of the cap, so put it on 70 or unlimited.

Yep. This second comment is right. An 860M shouldn't need an FPS cap - it'll be held back too much. Minecraft also relies very much on the CPU, which is more than good enough for it. DO NOT use VSync - unless you absolutely hate tearing.

With those specs (very good), turn it off or limit the FPS manually to 70 or something. Generally not having a cap on the FPS is good with a decent PC.
