well im not sure how much color theory you know, but if you dont know much, i would recommend binge watching as many videos on color theory as you can stomach. and definitely make sure you learn hue shifting if you dont already know about it. also find a skin artist you like and just study everything about their work. basically just color pick all their stuff and see exactly how they pick their colors. you dont need to copy them per se, just figure out the reasoning behind their color choices
