well anyone who cant afford minecraft hosting has bigger problems.
and if they just don't want to spend money that means they aren't going to be dedicated.

honestly just manage it yourself. you don't want to work with others in something like this. (ie you don't know who you can trust) I've heard of hostile take overs of servers, and I would personally never have anyone on staff higher than moderator.

You don't need to be a server owner to see that it CAN be profitable. Just go to any server's website and go to their donate link to see how well they're doing. This will give you a good idea of what types of servers are doing well.

The EULA is not really enforced but people seem to follow it regardless. According to the EULA you can't sell game changing items. So cosmetics and things such as an extra /sethome should be fine. Bukkit is still a thing. PayPal pretty much has a monopoly on online transactions, so you're stuck with them. Chargebacks are as annoying as ever. To combat them just have an ip ban policy on anyone who attempts a chargeback. Obviously still return their money, but just ban them so you don't have to deal with them. (Also I thought PayPal refunded fees if you just contact them and tell them about the chargeback/situation)

If you're not in it 100% for the money I'd say go for it, I understand that it can be fun managing a community. The small profit is just icing on top.

Also, Thank you for your service!

    use testforblock
    testforblock <x> <y> <z> <TileName> [dataValue] [dataTag]

    For example:
to test for a stone block at x= 1, y=50, z=10 do this:
    testforblock 1 50 10 stone

    1. In your case you'd want to set up a scoreboard dummy objective.
    2. You'll need a command block with the testforblock that has a conditional chain that adds one to the score and a third command block that deletes the command block before it so that the chain won't infinitely add a point the the score.
    3. Repeat step 2 so that there are 3 of them. for each one change the testforblock coords to the position of where you would spawn in the green blocks
    4. Have a repeating command block that has this as a condition "score_YOURSCOREBOARD_min=3"
And with that another conditional chain following it with your command you want to trigger.

If you didn't understand this you got lots of googling to do. this is basic command block stuff

    EDIT:

I just thought of an easier way. If you are using one command block to summon in the green squares for each of the three squares this will work.

    1. Set up a dummy scoreboard objective. Name it whatever you want
    2. Have a conditional chain following the command block you've already setup that spawns in the green square.
    3. Inside the conditional chain command block add 1 to the dummy scoreboard that you custom named.
    4. Have a repeating command block that has this as a condition "score_YOURSCOREBOARD_min=3"
And with that another conditional chain following it with your command you want to trigger.

LAN worlds should show up at the bottom of the server list.
if it's not showing up just google: "what's my ip?" And use the ip it gives you with the port that it Minecraft gives you at the end like this: 123.456.789:25565

A good rule of thumb when determining if something is possible in vanilla is seeing if there are server plugins that can do the same task.

So, it is 100% possible, I've never messed with the damage so I would have assumed that if it goes up high enough then it should work. According to you the damage does not do a one hit KO, so you would have to do it a much more complicated way using scoreboards and custom lore on the item you want to one hit kill with.

Well if you compare pricing then it would be factually correct to say that Mac's are overpriced.
For you to buy a Mac that has the same specs as a Windows computer you would need to pay at least +$500-$1000. But then again you are also technically buying the Mac OS which can only be purchased from Apple.

Why is this a debate? Macs and Windows in the end are both computers so their performance comes down to the hardware while the interface is depends on the operating system.

Mac OS looks pretty and fresh but Apple overprices their hardware so if you were into gaming or video editing you would need to pay more to match the performance of a Windows computer.
Windows sells it's license to other computer making companies who will make cheaper computers and use Windows on it. The cheaper price tag allows buyers to get beefier specs than if they used the same amount of money on a Mac.

Personally I use my Acer pc for gaming (because of the specs) and use a MacBook Air for light browsing and Youtube because it looks nicer.

Also for the dude who says Linux is the best does not account for the fact that a lot of people don't like the hassle of having to wipe their OS and install Linux. Linux already looks very unappealing and it is incompatible with many games so from a gaming perspective that would also be a no no. Servers running from Linux would be the only pro (Linux uses less to run).

Why do you have commands and redstone as separate? If redstone is used at all it would just supplement the command blocks.

    btw I use cmd blocks.

No offense but here's what everyone is thinking:
    You have zero experience.
    You don't have the knowledge.
You want someone to hold your hand through this.
You don't even want to put the money into this.

    Long story short:
    No one will help you.

You're allowed to bump a server post every 24 hrs on those server sites. It's so that they get put at the top of the list for people to see.
