If EA bought out Mojang AB. . .
"Want to mine that diamond ore? Will be twenty bucks for that!!"
"Want that extra space in your inventory? $7.99 from you!!"

Then they would add sports and stuff and next thing you know, Minecraft is no longer a sandbox game!!

Help/JavaEdition Unbreakable stone block in Minecraft?

You are in adventure mode. The only breaking blocks specific to their tools(i.e shovel - sand, pick axe - stone) means you are in adventure mode!
