I can't go to minecon or any of that stuff. So what to do?
Than do not get it?
If you do not have something have in real life like do you start bashing people for it because they do and they earned it with hard work (in this case dedication to minecraft) and you want it for free?

That's not what you pay for, and capes are cosmetic extras.
Buty them or not, it changes absolutely nothing in gameplay, and I've seen skins that frankly blow any cape they release out of the ranking at any rate.
Air BlockHere's reasons I like the new update:
- Before 1.9, combat was really repetitive. Click spamming gets boring after a while (with a lack of strategy). But with the new combat system, it takes the boring out of fighting and you have to make each hit count (which leads to coming up with strategy to fight someone). The shield is very useful (especially against skeletons)
- The end isn't really as empty as it use to be. Before this update, there is really no reason to come back to the end besides collecting end stones. Now you can summon the dragon again, go collect chorus plants, and even go to the new dugeon that is filled with awesome loots and the Elytra. Man, I love the Elytra. I should make a gliding map for it.
