Minecraft/Discussion 1.6.2 Worst. Update. Ever

The game isn't unplayable, you just need to light things up and build a house. The point was not to make the game unplayable, it was to make it so that going out at night was a bad idea. Pre-1.4, players could get a stone sword and be invincible. If you don't like it, then play on easy mode.

Also, crappy servers that have factions are so unpredictable and unstable it is not worth it to tame horses. If you were to go on an actual survival server without cheats like warps and tps you would see people riding horses.

Minecraft/Discussion What Do YOU Want In Minecraft?

Here are some common things I am seeing here, and why they are not in the game.

'add more dimensions.' Jeb has stated they want to improve the dimensions they have before adding new ones.

'more weapons.' Reskinned swords are boring.

'new ores for tools' Mojang has stated that they do not want to add new tools or weapons, just new ores that have a true purpose.

'emerald tools and armor' See above.

'less lag' Optimize your computer. Or, get a new one. Minecraft isn't meant to be run on a '98 Mac with a full hard drive. (exaggeration)

There is a difference between roleplaying and denial. Having fun by immersing oneself in a game is a positive thing.

I think the millions of people who play D&D or pathfinder would disagree with you. ]

If one permanently immersed themself in a fictitious word, that is different.

Actually, reading this, you do not need a java bukkit programmer. One human being of normal physique needs to but eat, drink, and remove waste to survive.

Oh, and breathing.

It's hard to take you seriously when you misspell the word seriously. Double check your things, kid. Or at least pay attention to the blatantly obvious red line under the word. I am a terrible speller (compared to most English nerds, at least) and I still rarely misspell a word. Terrible grammar and spelling drives me insane.

Eight works fine and all, but it is made to be overly simple, and basically, made for idiots. I mean no offense for people who like it, but it is designed to be like a tablet, mostly a competition for ipad. Better than the Ipad gui, but still inferior to 7. If your dad is technologically unsophisticated, give him 8. If he is more technologically sound, give him seven.
