What qualities or reasons should you be accepted into this staff position: I am currently working part time at day-care in order to pay for college expenses. With this job, I have gained experience in dealing with problems of all sorts. I am able to quickly and fairly resolve problems and disagreements with a cool-head. I have had a great deal of experience in the past, and treat others equally, whether they are my superiors or ordinary players. I am a very easy going person, and am always up for helping others, or answer any questions to take the burden off of my fellow staff.

Are you currently staff outside of CometCraft: As of now, I am applying for multiple servers. This server is currently my priority, however I do have alternatives if denied. I prefer to only work on one server at a time, so my attention will be focused to your cause.

If you were in a situation you could not resolve, what would you do My first course of action would be to gather any and all info I am able to. If it were cheat related, this would mean video evidence, screen shots, and immediately reporting it to my superiors. I would serve any punishment needed, with no hesitation, friend or new-comer. I would also make sure to keep other players calm if uneasiness from the situation arises.

How many hours can you devote per day: As I previously said, I do attend college. With this in mind, I am usually available 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. during weekdays, and 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. weekends. This can sometimes change during finals or excessive homework. (I'm sure you understand)

Will you be able to watch both the server and website: While playing Minecraft, or other games, I almost always have my browser open. This being the case, I can easy moderate both the server activity and forum activity, and help in any way I can on both sources.

Software or devices to record: I have screenshot capability, a recording device, sound recording, as well as built in chat logging. With this, I will be able to catch any foul play I come across.

Languages: Currently I speak fluent English, minimal Spanish, and moderate Japanese and Mandarin. I was born in Japan, but moved to America when I was 2. Since then I have picked up some of my parent's habits of speaking Japanese, Mandarin, and Kanji, but my skills in them are not to be relied upon.

Previous Experience: I've been playing MC since 2010, and since then I've been a Moderator or Administrator on a couple dozen servers. The first few were generic, small servers, however I later became staff on several popular servers that stretched my schedule. Once I entered college I've been focusing on Mod positions so that I would be able to focus more on college rather than helping to manage a server.

Years Played MC : 4 years now. A few months after Alpha began.

What could you offer Archaic Realms if hired: I am currently working part-time at a day-care, so I am more than capable at dealing with the average bickering and problems the everyday minecrafter poses. I am very cool-headed, and am able to patiently deal with most problems that arise if I have the needed tools. I would be able to take in most questions or problems that the players have, to allow higher positioned staff to focus on greater problems.

Why do you want this Job : I've been away from MC for a month or so, and recently decided to get back into it. This being the case, I wanted to look for a well-off server that I can devote myself to. I'm looking for a slightly easy going position, of which I can skillfully direct.

Staff Application:: I'm looking for a less in-depth position at the moment, as I am currently in college and don't have all day to devote. If for whatever reason you feel I need a higher position, I will accept it however.

I've been admin on five or six servers, though I decided to step down from my position due to certain circumstances. I also work part-time at a day-care, so I am very skilled at dealing with the average kids on Minecraft.

What would you do if you saw someone hacking: First of all I would screenshot or record it for proof. I'd then report it to higher staff. If no staff is online, I would then emit a temporary ban until an admin is able to deal with the problem more in-depth.

How would you help out with the server : Being in college I'd be very limited to how much I can donate if that's what you're needing. I am able to take in most of the questions or simple problems any of the players are helping. This would definitely ease the stress on the admins or any higher positions. I am also able to help out any of the builders if they need.

Ever been banned/muted/kicked/etc.: From what I remember I've never been severely punished. I was once muted for giving my opinion on an owner's spawn, and later banned from the server while still muted.

Anything else you need to know: I'm very easy going and easy to get along with. I'm cool and collect, and am always patient with people's problems. I can be very hard however, and am not afraid to punish anyone that needs such actions.

Experience: During my High School years, I owned a small Minecraft community of about 50-100. I managed it with several friends, and we funded it with part-time jobs. As I enrolled in college, I was forced to shut down the server in order to save money. Since then, I have been from server to server, website to website, moderating forums and communities until they were either shut down or corrupt.


What I can do for you: With my experience in real world managing, as well as server managing, I am able to easily and coolly make important decisions with no hesitation. I am not afraid to hurt the feelings of friends, if it means doing what is right. I am skilled at managing forums as well, and am able to make daily posts if needed. I am able to participate in any building projects, monitor any and all other staff members as well as players, and accurately and fairly judge arguments or rule breakers.

Availability: Since I do have a job, my schedule sometimes grows thin or lax. On average, you will have my attention from 4:00pm – 10:00pm on weekdays. On most weekends, I will be free most all day. Though I am not keen on spending all day on Minecraft, I will devote much of my time to your cause.

Building: During my High School days I was very skilled at building in my opinion. However since then I will admit I have lost much of those skills. I am a decent builder, able to follow directions and make what is needed, but you will without a doubt find better builders.

Plugin Knowledge: Throughout my Minecraft years, I have acquired a great deal of knowledge on plugins. From your average anti-hack and mini-game plugins, to more advanced world editing and coding plugins, I’ve been around the block. I have not learned every plugin out there, but I am a fast learned.

Social Skills: Currently I am working Part-Time at a Day-Care. Because of this, I have gained skills in dealing with childish arguments and fights that often pop up in Minecraft. I have learned to listen to all parties cool-headedly, and make fair and strict decisions, no matter whom may be involved. I am on average very laid-back and fun loving, but I can and will be stern when needed.

Why is this important to you: I've always enjoyed helping others, and watching projects grow. I am a very dedicated gamer, and love giving to servers to help them become great. I've recently gained a lot of free-time, so I've been looking for a project I can devote myself to. This project seems just what I am looking for.

Why are you making this application: I believe I answered this in my previous answer, but I'll restate it. I am looking for a promising server or congregation to devote my skills to, so that I may help further them to their max potential.

What experience do you have: I have been owner of my own server for about a year until I graduated High School. Since then I have been server to server, website to website, helping out here and there as Moderator, Designer, and Administrator. I've helped on several forums, organizing and moderating them. How can we trust you as a staff member: I can't very well give you reasons why you can trust me, it's more of something learned first hand. All I can say is that I am very cool-headed, and will do my best to earn your trust and further your servers.

How often are you going to be on: My job tends to give me a pretty good off time, but my schedule can be thin at times. You can mostly expect me from about 4:00pm - 10:00pm weekdays. On weekends I am mostly free all day.

Will you take your job seriously: I will give my best to further your congregate. I am a very hard working individual, and tend to be very studious and precise in my work. You can expect organized, easy to read posts or information from me, and daily updates and moderation.

Are you familiar with plugins: I have extensive knowledge on almost all average plugins you'd see on most servers. My favorite, and almost needed, is CoreProtect. I am able to deal with not having it, but I still prefer it. I am a very quick learner, so if I ever encounter a plugin I am inexperienced in, I can learn it before you notice.

Player A accuses Player B of hacking what do you do: I first ask player A if he has any proof of hacking (screenshot, other) and then review the proof if he/she can provide it. If not, I will check logs for possible anti-hack packets, or keep a very close eye on player B.

A player hacks right in front of you but uses the excuse "we must be lagging" what do you do: I first turn on my recording, just in case it happens again. I then review all logs for anti-hack warnings. Once that is finished, I will report him to a higher ranking staff member. I would then either temp-ban him for a short duration if the hack was serious, or go into vanish and survey him if it was minor.

Why you want to join us: I have been a bit tied up recently, so I’ve been away from the gamer world for a bit. I finally got my time back, so I’ve been looking to get back into the world of server staff.

What you like to build: My favorite building style is pixel art, Modern Buildings, and natural/decayed builds.

Previous Experience: I have been Owner on two servers before I enrolled in college. My administrator career has been a bit more involved though. I've been admin on five or six servers, though I decided to step down from my position due to certain circumstances.

Time you can devote to the server PER DAY: During Weekends, I will be available from about 11:30am - 12:00am. On Weekdays, I will usually be available from 3:00pm - 11:00pm.

Special Skills: I'm not sure if I have any 'special' skills worth telling that would prove of any use to you. I am currently enrolled in college studying computer graphics and animation. Once graduated I plan to work with my elder sister in Japan.

Plugin knowledge: I have extensive knowledge is dealing with plugins. Due to my long history of staff positions, I have learned to use almost every popular plugin. CoreProtect being my favorite. I am quick to learn new ones.

What can you bring to the server: I can offer my extensive knowledge as a staff member. Since I work a a day-care, I am very good at dealing with your average Minecrafter, and am quick to handle problems or questions.

Handicaps/Hangups: My biggest pet peeve is stubbornness. I cannot stand people who do not know when to admit that they are wrong. I also dislike leader figures, whom do not listen to their followers. A leader can never truly grow until he/she has learned humility. I work best with peers who are team players, and are willing to try new ideas which have been presented by other staff members.

Anything Else You'd Like to Make Known: I’m a bit (a lot) of an Otaku. I try not to let that bother people’s personal preference though.

It's extremely common to use a similar application on multiple instances. The same is used in colleges, work, ect. It is extremely uncommon to find someone who wants to type out long applications over and over when they will simply be identical. I simply copy and paste a draft of an application I've typed up, and edit it to the creator's specifications. If you'd prefer I can type up another with less 'quality', though it may be wasted time as it will be the same information, but typed up again personally. The other versions of my application you have found were accepted, but the servers were not adequate, so I tried once more on yours.
