step 1: get forge 1.6.2
step 2: download Pixelmon 3.0.4 or whatever the newest version is
step 3: open the minecraft launcher
step 4: click "Edit Profile" and find "Version Selection"
step 5: allow all minecraft versions then click "Use version:"
step 6: scroll to the bottom where it says "forge1.6.2" and a whole bunch of other crap
step 65836293274: start minecraft and play pixelmon!
side note: dont use any other mods unless you know that they work with Pixelmon
