Pirating the game has MANY problems. One of them is that you don't support the creators of the game; the other is that this can happen. Just buy the game, and this should be fixed.

age: I usually flop around this part, but...fourteen.
maturity level 35/100; I mean, unless you consider obsessing with cubes mature, then I don't know what to tell you.
how many servers you been on? Several servers. I've been playing for a while.
what are your achievements*? I can't really tell you, because, A, achievements get reset every time you go in a different world, and B, achievements aren't even worth getting.
what are your tactics? Rush, back off, heal, potion, rinse and repeat.
what are your greatest weakness* in the game? I never really do any other tactics.
why do you want to be our staff? Because I'm too lazy to host a server myself (even though I know how to port-forward and host myself, besides I'm on windows 10 so it wouldn't work well)
TELL ME A JOKE: Jokes don't really come to me, I just say them whenever.

First of all, the less rain particles can be lessened down. Go into particle settings and turn it down to minimal.

Next, get a resource pack, and edit the lava textures to be slightly transparent.

*PvP Skillz: You could say, I am decent at it.
*Opinion on 1.9 PvP: It wasn't completely a good idea, but it was alright.
*PvP Style: Depends. If we're talking about 1.9+ combat, I'd usually strike, jump back, wait for the attack bar to charge back up, and go back up to attack again. This usually works, unless it's an axe.

As for 1.8, guess what? Just smack them over and over until they die. Sometimes get back, but that's about it.

And what varies between the two? Sometimes when I get back, I'll eat a food (incase hunger is low) or a golden apple, maybe a potion of instant health (incase health is low) etc.

That's almost certainly your problem then. I have other ideas what might be causing it, but I (and I imagine most other people) won't help you any further til you fix this issue
