Why do you want this? I want this because I will minimise the amount of rule breaking and create an enjoyable experience for the whole player base. But more to the point I would like to become staff to help and encourage new players, provide them any assistance they may need, and generally aid any player in any way they require in a polite, respectful and accelerated manner. Finally I would like to help relieve some of the stress of the other staff members by being active and helping consistently.
I could bring my commitment, I would try my very hardest to provide players with informative and helpful answers to all their queries, I would do this frequently to make sure all players have an enjoyable experience.
- Also because of my previous experience I have a great understanding of appropriate sanctions and the best means to deter rule breakers, by simply making fair unbiased decisions. Also I have high amounts of time and patience, which I think would be essential when helping players come to grips with rules and any problems. Most of my experience from the "field", have been from being admin. I really like to help out so I can spend a lot of my time on. I’m usually very seriously about everything, but I'm quite the jokster (not really), but making people laugh, even if it's just a little giggle, it is truly amazing and means alot to me.
What can you bring to this server? Personally I believe that there are a number of fundamental aspects to "being a good team member". I believe these aspects to be: Obedience, trust, commitment and flexibility. Most of the time, within a team you will find some form of a 'leader'. In a team, the most frustrating thing that can occur is disobedience. That is why for a team to function properly, everyone should be prepared to listen and carry out orders. Sometimes people may not see any good out of the order but they should be prepared to carry it out which comes to my next point - trust. Trust acts as 'glue' and is what keeps the team together. It is such a valuable and delicate thing because once trust it lost, it's very hard, if not impossible to recuperate.
Team mates should trust each other and be able to rely on one another because that's what teams are; Co-op mode. I have done inexcusable things in my past which I truly regret, and some would argue that I'm not trustworthy at all. But I want to state this here and now that I will not repeat my mistakes, I will value any trust invested in me and not let anyone down. I've spent many months reflecting on my actions and realized the damage I've dealt however I'm here, confident I can be someone you can rely on.
My saying is: "If you make a commitment, stick to it." and I'm saying that I'm prepared to fully commit to becoming a staff member on your server. The last aspect; Flexibility is really to explain that team members should be able to adjust to a situation which they may not be too familiar with. The word 'sacrifice' may be relevant as component in being a good team member is to pull your weight even if it isn't beneficial towards yourself. Hypothetically speaking, I'm prepared to do my share of the work as well as more because I know being a member of the staff team isn't easy - it's hard work.
What makes you better than the rest? Well, I am extremely capable and can prove myself to be able to handle all kinds of different tasks, big and small. I assure you professionalism in all that I do. I promise to uphold and maintain a great server experience and while at the same time, making sure that all players understand the rules and still have fun. I will also lend a hand to anybody in need of help.
Previous server experience: I've been moderator on a friends server, now sadly down, and admin on 2. I quit after a while because of immature staff and owner.
Anything else: Well, the reason I want to become a staff is fairly simple. I really want to help you in achieving your minecraft server ambitions. I have learnt and have had many experiences, good and bad, on minecraft servers. There were a few staff on this server and a few other servers, who I see to be responsible, helpful, caring, and the "no-nonsense" but "I can take a little bit of a joke" kind of attitude. I think I possess good attributes to contribute towards this server. I think some people do not have respect and are relatively rude.
About you (Required): I am a person that knows that there is a right time for everything, when it is time to be serious and when it is the time to lighten up and joke a bit. This causes me not be hated. I am also very committed and persevering when it comes to doing or achieving something. I have been praised for having a way with words before. I am able to support burdens and handle situations too.
