Character Name: Mathias
Character Age: 19
Character Gender: Male
Character Biography: He left his home at the age of 15. Soon after he left, he started to develop strange abilities. He didn't know at the time that his abilities would change his life. A month later, Mathias's father tracked him down, against the warnings of Mathias mother. Mathias's father told him that their little continent would soon need a hero, and that hero was him. Mathias told his father about his his abilities. Mathias was told by his father that they were elemental energies that his village had kept a secret from him. Soon after, Mathias learned to control the four elemental energies, Wind, Water, Fire, Earth. His natural talent was that of Wind based abilities. At the age of 18, Mathias had his last and deadliest challenge, he had to slay his own father, who had been corrupted and then possessed by the creature know as Cataclysm. Even though it seemed like that was the only option Mathias had a better idea, to destroy Cataclysm from the inside. He summoned all his elemental energy and used it to fight Cataclysm, without bring harm to his father. Even though he had freed his father and destroyed Cataclysm, it was pointless in the end. Mathias lost control of the sheer amount of power used free his father and destroy Cataclysm, every ounce of life left in his body was fading. Mathias knew this would happen, yet he did it anyway. It seemed like the end, but a strange voice called out to him According to the voice, he could still live, but only if he had the Special Water from the Fountain Of Hero's. He remembered getting some of this Special Water from a young lady who had nursed him back to health after a devastating battle to protect her small town. She said it had very rare healing powers and to only use it in an absolute emergency. This seem like more than that, it was life or death. Mathias, as quickly as he could, got his bag of supplies and drank the water, making sure to leave some for his injured father. At the age of 19, Mathias bought a ship and sailed off, taking with him a sword, a bow, and some arrows, hoping to find a nice little place to call home, also hoping that he wouldn't have another near-death experience.
