http://spaceweather.com, doesn't look like any are coming our way. There's only a 1% chance of X-Flares, and 15% M-Flares, and also NASA has said this Solar Cycle will be the weakest to date. We've had some pretty nasty flares this year, and nothing bad has happened. The solar cycle is predicted to be in mid-2013, not December. And the Super Volcano is uncertain when it will blow, it could be anytime, so don't make the assumption that it's soon (As in it's going to blow soon for certain, it's unknown). They said it could happen tomorrow, or years, and years from now.
