    I thought zombies601 was fairly elegant in his comment. He simply misunderstood that the pre-release was incomplete and the expectations he had were not met. I think he fully understands now that the 1.8 'update' he has downloaded is not intended to be bugless and his understanding of the control scheme may be wrong.

    There is no reason to yell at or harass zombies601 simply because he had misunderstood. Instead we should be offering constructive criticism and corrections to him.

    As a member of the minecraft community and an avid player I am disappointed by some of the comments I have seen here so far.

    Let's do everyone a favour and try to be a little more civil with each other.

    Are you sure those things have been removed? We should get some confirmation on this.

    Link me to where you got the per-release of 1.8. Maybe you got the wrong version.

    I'll install it and let you know what problems I do/don't run into.

    Hello. I would be interested in helping out. I have Skype and am an active player. I play for a good 3 hours each morning at 8 AM EST and then am on less consistently as the day goes on. On the weekends I am up very late and could be a strong presence as a late night moderator. This can be a godsend as many times it is hard to resolve problems that occur in game over night.
