I think that the gods in this case would be the developers. Composers of the game's soundtrack (Lena Raine, C418, etc) could be considered gods of music, Jeb would be the strongest of the gods in my opinion, but Notch would be a sort of fallen angel or retired deity since he left Mojang. Herobrine may not be a god, but perhaps a silent observer seeking to watch players without interacting with them or their worlds.

An end mineral. It would generate in the outer End, even more common in the Small End Islands. It would look dark cyan. You could use it to craft a totem to make end travel easier by making you fall slowly while it's in your main hand or offhand. Additionally, you could right-click with it equipped to launch yourself up 10 or so blocks, but it would only work while you're falling or flying.
