I use Apex Hosting. It is a bit pricey but very good support. They do all of the work for you. You just tell them what you want and they will do it. You can also install mods from the website onto your server and it does it for you.

What folder did you install them to and do you have Forge and a /mods folder?

PMC/Discussion I would like to join a fun anti pvp/ griefing where i can have fun because playing single player gets a little boring

My server has pvp but I can turn that off for you. You won't be able to hurt others and they won't be able to hurt you. I can also protect your home so it doesn't get griefed.
