    LAN means "local area connection" so if people are playing on your internet (in your house) you can let them join your single player world.

    A migrated account is an account that has been changed to a mojang account so you can use the same account if you purchase other mojang games.

    If ya really wanna play mc play a little singleplayer, build something in creative mode or practice some redstone to improve your knowledge, if not just go watch some good old tv!

    This is a pretty much what's happening because atm migrated accounts can be hacked into at the moment so they have shutdown all servers that need authorization from minecraft.net to log in.
