In the skies above the Great Monster Empire’s continent in the Monstraterrum universe, a tealish-purple portal opened. Through it flew fighter jets and spacecraft owned by the Chaos Legion and PMC Military. Several miles off the southern coast, another portal opened, and out came boats carrying land vehicles and infantry troops from all the armies of Chaoseus 1122.27's Planet Minecraft: the Legion, the PMC Military, the Cholan Empire, the Illager Clan, the Forge, the Cryptic Family, the Nether Army, the Ender Army, the Legion of Fallen Steel. Astral Beast flyers of both the normal and elite varieties targeted the incoming liberation forces, but they were outmatched by the enhanced firepower of their opponents' weapons - an upgrade courtesy of arcane spells provided by the Cryptic Family's Aspect of Horror. Soon, the troops made landfall, storming the shores and taking on every kind of Astral Beast: foot soldiers, bruisers, titans, killers, plaguebringers, poison makers, and even hypnotizers! While Astral Beasts were dropping dead left and right, the PMCers were not without their own casualties. Large swathes of PMC Military pilots were being taken down, and their burning jets caused massive explosions upon crashing, which took out troops of various nations. Overall, though, they were making progress: if viewed from above, it would look as though they were tunneling their way through the horde, with their ultimate destination being the stronghold, located within the ruins of the castle. Soon, reinforcements came in the form of the surviving members of the GME, GAE, and Imperialstonelandian Federation, with the GAE's salvaged spacecraft proving rather useful in the aerial battle.
Anarchist IGEBM, GME Field Marshal Ironwitherstone, and a 15-man detachment of troops from across the nations took advantage of the chaos to teleport into the castle ruins, along one of the shattered ramparts. They fought their way through the Astral Beasts, making sure to be quick with it, as they knew the Voice of the Hive Mind was watching, and would be preparing to flee. As both IGE and Ironwitherstone had been to the castle before, they knew all of its inner workings, and where the Voice was likely hiding. IGE teleported the team (now 12 troops) deeper in, but on the opposite side of the complex, intending to confuse the Voice by appearing in different places and cutting off his potential escape routes.
They did this for a good half-hour, and, as predicted by Chaos Legion astrabestialogists (those who study the Astral Beasts) who helped devise the strategy for the operation, the Voice of the Hive Mind and a group of elite foot soldiers and bruisers who served his personal guard escaped through a back exit once used for emergency evacuations of the emperor. They were waiting for him there, armed and ready to fight. The team battled long and hard, and around and above them, so did the Astral Beast horde and the people of the PMC UN, the GME, the GAE, and the Imperialstonelandian Federation. Soon, the fight turned from two teams battling each other to a 2v1 between IGEBM and Ironwitherstone and the Voice of the Hive Mind. In the end, they won. As he fell, the Voice spoke one last time: "I may fall, and those of us left may flee, but we will not die out, and we will return... someday..." Then, he died, and as he said, the Astral Beast swarm began to fly away into the blackness of space en masse.
The war was over. The PMCers had won.
