when i watched this it started me thinking. what if the enderman is actual the slenderman trapped in minecraft, what if notch found out a way to transport grate evil into his game to save the world from them. zombies, gient spiders and skeletal archers. so i did some searching and i found there was a monster in an ancient Greek myth that says that a "towering monster" would start to "sing" a song and then explode. then i found a segment of Norse myth that described a "tall" creature in covered in vines and grass that would emit a horrible sound and then explode. there was also a chines storie that described a green dragoon that was quite big and made a screeching sound before exploding like a "Wujing Zongyao". only one of the origins that i found gave it a name though that was the chines one which called it 綠色爆炸 or Lǜsè bàozhà.
dose notch take ancient monsters like the slenderman or Lǜsè bàozhà and trp them in his game so that they can not harm anyone more, or is this some great coincidence?

*edit i know that notch says the creeper is actual a failed pig but he must have screwed up bad so i think that to cover up the fact that he saved humanity from the threat he made up the most obvious lie in hops that smart people would get the fact that he was lying

NIKKI was innocently mining some diamond in the bottom of a deep dark cave, when i came across some lava. lava was never a big deal, and i was unafraid. I decided to use some TNT to blow a whole through a wall when suddenly a wild creeper appeared. I was holding the creeper off when the tnt was ignited by the lava, my life flashed before my eyes, and the creeper was knocked into the lava, but some how the dynamite formed a larger monster, and began to poor lava out of its face.( i think it was a bug with the creeper). The beast was huge, and dynamite on its body would explode, luanching more tnt at me. I ran out of the cave, and it chaced me down, digging its way through the earth to get me. Hiding in my house was pointless as it demoed its way through. Finnaly i led it into the water, where it drowned a miserable death. I had just updated minecraft to 1.3.1, and i was running no mods. I'm not sure if this was part of the update, or just a weird bug, but i fear the magma dynamite monster will return.
